Better Matter Foundation(BMF)’s “Mo Gharani Sadhabani” the 1st Online Reality Show for Women Entrepreneurs, which makes a scope to ideate, learn and establish Online Business Venture for those who have passion, skill and willingness to be a Digital Business Owner!

Mo Gharani Sadhabani is a bespoke initiative that fosters holistic growth and development of Odia women entrepreneurs around the world, unleashing the entrepreneurial moxie, transforming skill, efforts and ideas into a successful early-stage venture. Along the way, the participants will be getting Online intensive business education, vision and direction, frameworks, intimate mentoring, dedicated support networking, and access to resources and market opportunities.

This Digital campaign is designed on the belief that investing in women entrepreneurs leads to economic growth, a culture of innovation, equality, agility and empathy.

Who is it for?

This is geared toward women with the entrepreneurial attitude and aptitude, the right provocation and determination to build a Digital business. Any aspiring business owner creating her Digital start-up or young lady leader who seeks a paradigm shift in her career goal to digital space and intends to scale up their online business can join this dynamic and diverse cohort opportunity of industry leaders, subject matter experts, change-makers and innovative thinkers, investors; where each participant is going to be a winner eventually.

We will select up to 5000 women entrepreneurs for the Cohort Mentoring Program through the Online screening process. Eventually, we will be selecting the Top 100 and Top 10 winners in Cohort Mentoring Session and finally, Sadhabani of 2023 will be selected by 21st November.

Who can apply?

Odia woman entrepreneur with a high entrepreneurial attitude and aptitude, aiming to set up a Digital business with the potential of global outreach and a highly scalable model. There are no geographical or age restrictions for participation.

Program Highlights

Cohort Mentoring curriculum

There will be 4 modules and 100 days of intensive training spread over a 400-days campaign period, where entrepreneurs will enhance their business acumen in all key challenges of running an online business including accounting and finance to marketing and networking. Entrepreneurs will also participate in growth teams to build peer networks with other Odia women entrepreneurs from all over India as well as up-skill through shared challenges and experiences.

Peer Learning and Networking

Participants will continue to receive support even after the program is completed for a year, through masterclasses, panel discussions, workshops and other engagements. The participants will also be able to monitor and track their growth through monitoring and evaluation. These evaluations and engagements enable women entrepreneurs to review their business against objective parameters and self-defined goals.

Outcome Focused Boot Camp

The participants that successfully complete the online screening process will be selected for the Bootcamp to be organised online. The Bootcamp will further amplify learnings from the Program by incorporating interactive components of core business key areas. It is also an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to experience the ecosystem and connect with entrepreneurs, startups, mentors and academicians.

One-on-One Mentoring

Mentoring is a crucial model of the program that enables application learnings optimally for remarkable success while addressing other challenges of digital ventures. The experts and professionals from diverse industries provide valuable insight about the venture and guide in building a growth plan for each of the selected business concepts.

Market Survey & Need Assessment

Focusing on area-specific development of ventures and ecosystem mapping of their requirements.

Business Acceleration

Chances to showcase ventures periodically at startup events or exhibitions.

Access to Investors

Qualifying online ventures may raise upto Rs. 20 lakhs subject to due diligence.

Application Process

The application process is online and will only take a maximum of 30 minutes. You are required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents along with the application form

For verification of identity: Aadhar Card/Pan Card/Driving License/Passport

In the case of existing business owners

a. Ownership/Designation (For Startup Owners): Only official documents like GST Registration (will hold good for a proprietorship). In the case of

a partnership, LLP and Pvt Ltd - Partnership deed / MoA/ AoA is acceptable.

b. For Revenue: A revenue certificate or P&L statement is acceptable

The final selection for the programme will be made through online screening test rounds.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN ‘MO GHARANI SADHABANI’ PROGRAM?

This program is aimed to create highly innovative and scalable Odia women-led digital startups. This is best suited for an Odia woman intending to start their own Digital Entrepreneurship journey or who already has seed to early-stage digital startups (registered).

HOW MANY STARTUPS WILL BE SHOWCASED IN THE PROGRAM?

We will select up to 100 Odia women entrepreneurs for the showcasing & acceleration program through an online screening process.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I BE WILLING TO COMMIT TO THE PROGRAM?

It’s suggested to ensure at least the participant should devote 100 hours to paid mentoring sessions to get the fullest benefits. Though we will be sharing recordings of the sessions, 100% attendance is mandatory for every participant.

ARE THE MENTORING SESSIONS ONLINE?

The sessions will be delivered in online mode with 5 days of free demo sessions. The mentoring sessions and expert interactions will be held virtually.

WILL THERE BE A DEMO SESSION BEFORE REGISTRATION?

Yes, there will be an Online demo session for 5days before registration.

IS THERE ANY COST RELATED TO THE MENTORING SESSION AND FURTHER?

Yes, the selected participant needs to pay a registration fee to pursue the paid mentoring sessions for 100 days. Travel and lodging costs shall be borne by BMF for SADHABANI-2023, who will be attending the in-person grooming sessions before the grand final event.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CAMPAIGN FINISHES?

After the campaign comes to an end, the participants will become part of the Femibiz community. Here, all of them can continue to interact with other participants and mentors, join ongoing events, and share more insights, news and opportunities as the change agents.
